The comfort kit was designed with kids in mind. When a child comes into the emergency room the experience is often described as scary, uncomfortable and sometimes traumatic. My mission is to turn this experience into one that is less dreaded, to make pediatric patients feel calm and relaxed.

 The comfort kit provides children with many things that are familiar and comfortable to them. With a blanket and stuffed animal to hold along with items to play with and keep them distracted, they can leave with a smile.

The hospital may also us this as an advertising oppurtunity. With the competition between hospitalas ever growing a potential customer can be swayed by many different interactions. Seeing another child or adult out in public with a blanket or stuffed animal that has a certain hospital's logo on it can be a very positive thing, Conversations may arise about the experience they had at the hospital and statistics prove that word of mouth review seems to be the most infulential, likely making the hospital with the comfort kit on had a great choice.
